    18t to 20th March, 2017 Las Encinas

    Pablo Pérez de Villar

“We were 6 adults and 6 small children staying in Las Encinas in March 2017. The house is surrounded by very pleasant prairies and is modern and well groomed. Furthermore the house has allowed for different areas to be enjoyed from several different perspectives around the home. The decoration is exquisite and sophisticated, which on the other hand, is not ideal when you stay with young children. However, the environment is very safe and you can do small excursions to the river or to see animals. Once you are there you can truly ¨disconnect¨ in an authentic rural habitat!”

17th to 19th February, San Julián del Naval

“It has been such an immense pleasure to spend a few days at San Julián del Naval. We went looking for rest and nature and we found beauty and harmony.
The country that surrounds it is amazing, and we took long walks enjoying the cows and the river.
In the village we ate very well and at the house we had long breakfasts under the sun.
The evenings were spent gazing at the fireplace. One always stopped to admire the many details of the decoration. A house put up with a lot of charm and full of soul. Highly recommended- I hope to go back soon!”

    15th January, Las Encinas

    Luis Solano

“We spent several days over Christmas in Las Encinas. This place is wonderful, a house in the middle of the country, with spectacular views, decorated with so much taste and so, so cozy. We felt we were in a charming hotel. A perfect place to rest and get away from our daily rush. We were invited al dolce far niente, to relax, gaze at the scenery and at most take a walk in the fields where we hardly found a living soul. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The host, Jesús, went out of his way to be sure we were at ease, that we settled in well in a most comfortable fashion. Finally we really felt at home. We will go back, no doubt. Top marks.”

“The cottage is beautiful and a perfect place to escape, contemplate and properly relax. It’s quite an adventure trying to find it but we were given good directions and after a 7 hour drive from Portugal it was a welcome sight. The owner left a detailed map of the gardens and surrounding areas which is rich in wildlife (frogs, vultures, Terrapins, mink, wild boar) and the local fresh water rock pools are fantastic. The town square is also a great place to spend a Sunday afternoon eating and drinking with the locals. It’s a magical place.”
